Provisional BER - New Build
At Murray EcoDesign Ltd., we provide accurate Provisional BER assessments prior to the commencement of construction on a new home.We check the proposed design to insure it will comply with part L of the building regulations and ensure the client has a high-performing home upon completion. We offer a bespoke service that includes an added ‘builders BER specification sheet’ that outlines how it is intended to comply with the building regulations for conservation of fuel and energy and achieve a min A2 BER rating. This specification sheet can be used in the tender process and can be referred back to by the builder throughout the build. Murray EcoDesign will also be available for guidance throughout the build.

Provisional BER FAQ’s
Can a Provisional BER change upon completion?
Yes, once the home is completed, a final BER assessment is required. Any design changes, material upgrades, or changes to the specification throughout the build can affect the final rating.
How can our team help with a Provisional BER?
